Summer haze

This summer is almost over for me. I had back to campus in a week and a half. Crazy. My class just ended and I recently quit my job, so I have the rest of these weeks to actually be a teenager and enjoy summer! (BeeTeaDubs, I’m officially not a teenager anymore at the end of this month, not sure how I feel about it..)

So since I’m off my medicine, my cheeks aren’t swollen anymore, & I can actually eat more than popsicles, I went out today with a good friend. Nothing like shopping to wear you out!

Now, here’s some summer inspiration for you!

As much as I love summer, I am so so so ready for fall. It’s my favorite time of year & I’m guest posting about it on Alivia’s blog Brunch in April later this week, so be sure to check it out!

Allergies, please go away

This title basically sums up my life right now.

Minus the fact that I have a research paper looming over my head.

& three midnight shifts this week.

BUT I’m finally going to go clubbing this summer. Yay.

Sorry, I know I need an update post. I have some very pretty pictures from my fabulous weekend. (I promise that post is coming!)

Until then, I’ll just leave you with that ^..

Have a terrific Tuesday!

Party time.

My neighborhood celebrated Independence Day on the 3rd of July.
My family also celebrated little man’s 3rd birthday.

I hope everyone’s holiday weekend was as smashing as mine!

1. Flowers I bought. 2. Fresh grapes and berries. 3. Little man with his bug catching party gifts.

4. His bulldozer cake. 5. Mini cupcakes. 6. Bug cupcakes.

7. New racetrack! 8. Bests at the fireworks. 9. The lake.

Can you believe summer is halfway over?!

Friends, amusement parks, and good eats

This weekend my friend from school came to visit. She lives 3 hours away, so I appreciated her making the trek! We had a good time with her enjoying some of the Cincy food. We also went to Kings Island with this girl. We rocked the fanny packs and enjoyed the cooler weather. After our day we swung by Five Guys. I love the Jr cheeseburger with “everything except mustard.” Their fries are also fantastic!

Needless to say, it was a good day.

P.S.    Happy Father’s Day to all those papas out there! We enjoyed a lovely dinner in my household.  && A father appreciation post to come soon!

I forgot how much I love home. I love having my room, a kitchen, a driveway, a yard.

I missed the scenery. I missed this.

I missed my dad’s grilling. I missed driving. I missed the sounds from the pond at night. I missed the lake.

It’s funny how nothing is quite like home.

How are all of you college kids feeling about being back?

I am home for the summer. As much as I’m going to miss campus, it’s nice to live in house again. It’s nice to be around family.

I have a kitchen again! & my own room, which is so much bigger than my dorm room.

(This was this winter, but it’s still homesweethome. Now it’s green everywhere! Yay Summer!)

And now it is officially summer. I’m so excited to see what this summer has in store, as it may be the last one that we’re all home. I can’t wait for bon fires, concerts, the lake, late nights, and driving with the windows down and the music up.

This song has been stuck in my head and reminds me of those summers where all we listened to was Mayday, All Time Low, and Every Avenue.
