High time for pie

I went home this past weekend, and it was a much needed break. It was so nice to be able to see my family and one of my best friends.

Since I was home, I took advantage of having a kitchen and baked!

Yay apple

I didn’t quite make the lattice, it was just too difficult . However, 3 year olds make great helpers. (:

My first apple pie!

I used this recipe found on Bouffe e bambini recipes.

I thought it turned out rather well, even if I did eat the majority of it.

ice cream for everyone.

Today was National Ice Cream Day.

I love ice cream & froyo.

So today I had blackberry pie (which I made!) with vanilla frozen yogurt.
& At the family event I had peach cobbler with peach ice cream.

Yum Day.

P.S. Every time I say froyo, it makes me think of “Totesthebesthuncalfroyo,” which is from the Harvard Sailing Team’s video.

That’s how the cookie crumbles…

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone had a good week, mine was CRAZY!

Class, work, parties, movies, birthdays, and the pool.

While relaxing before work yesterday, the girls and I decided to have cookie time. It was a great way to celebrate the week.

How do you eat your oreos?

I split mine, lick the icing off, then dunk the cookies.

My sister (above) dunks the whole thing and bites.

The girls take all of their cookies and combine the icing into “icing balls” and eat those last.

They do that, because to them, the icing is the best. I like the cookie part better, though.

Well, hopefully I’ll be posting more this week! Until then, enjoy your cookies.

Awkward & Awesome Thursday

*Creepy guys at work.

*Forgetting how to work a register, while at work.

*Glasses too big for your face ^^

*Having a little man who doesn’t like to use his inside voice at the library.

leisure time

Since I’ve been home for a while, and I don’t start class for another few weeks, I’ve had some leisure time. Yes, I still work, but it’s later in the day. Yesterday, I was able to read a book that I wanted not an assigned one. It was fantastic. I’ve also been enjoying the food at home. Home cooked dinners, fresh fruit, chai!, and coffee. (:

I loveeee it. Please don’t send me back to dorm food.
